Stanley Kunitz is quoted as saying: "The deepest thing I know is that I am living and dying at once, and my conviction is to report that dialogue."
Jodi shares that conviction.
She also shares the following sentiment with Georgia O'Keefe:
"I decided to accept as true my own thinking."

Jodi Anderson was born in the Wisconsin River on a cold winter night. There is no time between then and now.
She grew up searching creek and river banks, traversing prairies, and trekking through the woods. She lived in the country, walked trap lines, cleaned venison, and ate squirrel. This past continues to shape who she is yet today.
Never settling on one form of expression, Jodi writes poems and vignettes as well as authoring her own blog for eight years and occasionally contributing to those of others; stamps what she sees with photography; records ambient sounds; and tries to take a bit of video every day.
Her motto is to seek beauty in the mundane.

Jodi has blogged at The Women's Colony and Homeschool Bytes. Her poetry and photos have been published in The State Street Poetry Sheet and The Capitola Review.
